you join the membership of the Barbados Hotel and Tourism
Association, you open a world of opportunities. The
strength of the Association is its members, and over the
years, we have proved that there is strength in numbers.
MEMBERSHIP
CATEGORIES
Accommodation
Any person, firm or
corporation providing guest accommodation, whose principle income
is derived directly from visitors to the island. Voting privileges
allowed Membership in the Caribbean Tourism Association
(CHA) and the Barbados Employers Confederation is an automatic privilege.

Direct Tourism Services
Any person, firm or corporation, whose principle income is
derived directly from visitors to the island. Voting
privileges allowed. CHA Allied membership and BEC membership

Supporting Tourism Services
Any person, firm or corporation, whose principle income is NOT
derived directly from visitors to the island. Non - Voting
privileges. CHA Allied membership and BEC membership

Sustaining Membership
Any person, firm or corporation intending to operate a
business in tourism and is in the process of construction or
re-construction. This is a temporary membership status which ends
when construction is completed and full membership is invited. Non

Overseas Membership
Any person, firm or corporation registered and operating
outside of Barbados. May join through the web site. Non -

Student
Membership
Any student wishing to join the Association. May join

Affiliate Members
Available to any individual,
